Volunteers

Thank you for considering offering your support as a volunteer at Rosewood Free School.  We welcome volunteers in class, supporting with therapies, or for help during lunchtimes.

In order to safeguard our pupils, before you come into school we will ask make an appointment with either the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher for a short informal discussion about what we can offer you and what you hope to get out of the volunteering process. If the placement is agreed an Enhanced CRB check will need to be completed. We also ask that you complete an application form supplying two referees who can vouch for your suitability to work with our students. We cannot accept you into school until we have received both the CRB clearance and your references.

We offer a full induction training programme that will help you acquire the skills you need to support our learners.
Volunteers are an integral part of our work and through this process we are able to ensure the placement is right for you and that you enjoy your time at Rosewood.
